Holiday break 20/12-3/1, news for the upcoming year and other important info

Hi everyone, and happy holidays!

I hope you all will have a lovely and relaxing time spent with loved ones.

TMC will be on a holiday break from December 20th to January 3rd. The shop will stay open so you can still place orders during the holidays, but shipping and customer service will be CLOSED.

Now onto some more somber news:

Due to the pandemic, there has been a shortage of a lot or raw materials. Sadly, this has not escaped the realm of silicone products and due to a sand shortage (sand is used to manufacture raw silicone - basically, silicone is boneless glass) there has been a price hike on silicone itself from our manufacturer and supplier. This is nothing we have any power over, and it has affected (or will affect) most indie fantasy toy makers.

What will this mean for us?
It means that in order to continue to afford the same operation and provide the same high-quality product, we need to increase our prices by an estimated 15%. It might be a little more, or a little less, but initial calculations land somewhere around the fifteen mark. This will go into effect in 2022 and current stock will not be affected, only new and upcoming stock.

Shipping prices will also increase slightly starting January 2022.

The increases on standard shipping will be modest, but I still want to make everyone aware of a slight increase.

DHL Express will no longer be a flat rate, and the price threshold will be at every 0.5 kilos (about 1 lbs)
If you plan on making larger purchases, this might be good to keep in mind.

Thank you so much for understanding!

 Other noteworthy things:

I'm still working on new sizes for the Selkie (Large) and Ambrose (Small)
Unfortunately, this had to be on the backburner as I had to focus finishing up Wildwood Alchemy customs and working on an inventory drop for December. If everything goes to plan, the new sizes will be up in early 2022.

Wildwood Customs will also be closed over the holidays, and will be back in early 2022.

Thank you so much everyone, without your support I wouldn't be here doing this. 2021 has been a rough year in so many ways, but you have made it a little easier. Thank you for all the orders, kind words, encouragement, for recommending us, and understanding that we are a little one to one and a half person operation.

See you all next year!
Stay safe and take care everyone ♥
